The Xterra Racer Build
The Nissan Xterra Race truck has been rebuilt to race in the new BITD 7100 Class and is a radical departure from the class 3100, stock-mini, racer that it once was. It has been a long time in the making and the top-notch craftsmanship shows.
In previous race years (2005-2008) the Xterra Race Truck competed in the Class 31 4WD stock truck class and was sponsored by Nissan, Goodyear, and KC Hi-Lights. The Xterra placed 3rd in class in 2008.
With the Start of the Class 7100 semi stock Mini Class the Xterra Racer has taken on a new life.
The Motor is a stock 4.0L Nissan with Custom Doug Thorley Loing tube headers as well as a Magnaflow custom race exhaust.
The Suspension is comprised of front Bilstein 2.5in coil overs and 2.0 5 way adjustable Bilstien race shocks. The upper and lower control arms are stock reinforced arms with custom spindles and tie rods. The stock steering rack is used.
The Rear suspension is a custom National Leaf spring leaf packs with 2x 2.0 Bilstein 5 way adjustable race shocks.
The Dash is a custom build aluminum with speed hut gauges.
The Lighting consists of KC highlights Hid Cannons with a new 10" row of KC Flex LEDs
